Regional Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and developing business relationships with customers across target segment and Territory
  • Legal, Commercial and Technical due diligence of potential customers and interacting with them to collect technical data, customer requirements
  • Understanding the existing electrical system of the client and should be aware with various Industrial processes
  • Coordination with Sales Operation team to present techno-commercial solutions and legal agreement to customers
  • Market Intelligence – Constantly evaluate the ecosystem for Onsite and grid connected Solar projects from a regulatory, technical-commercial angle
  • Network and develop good working relationship with regulators, utilities, Govt., state energy authorities, Renewable Energy Associations etc
  • Develop & manage the various EPC companies in the region
  • Track, evaluate, apply, and close Tender based leads
  • Develop and manage channel partners and drive them to deliver Business Goal
  • Drive Revenues, constantly increase customer satisfaction in a time bound manner

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Candidate should be well versed with the technical concepts of solar PV technologies and Opex projects like IRR, buy back values, Deemed Generation etc
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multitask
  • Ability to flourish with minimum guidance and be proactive
  • Proficient in word, excel, power point and outlook

Experience:

8-10 years of experience in sales & marketing field. Experience must be in solar rooftop & ground mount (open access) project sales.

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech with MBA in Sales and Marketing
